Pals is one of the most stunning and beautifully medieval towns in the Catalonia region. Situated on a hilltop amidst rural farming countryside,the central bell tower of Pals, can be seen for miles around and forms an imposing part of the landscape of Pals. Five miles from the Mediterranean and thirty miles from the French border in the Pyrenees, Pals is ideally situated as a base to explore legendary Catalonia.

PLATJA de PALS – The beach of Pals located 5 km from the village center is more than 3,5km long, it is aso wide and with incredible panoramic views of the coast and the famous Medes islands.
Its large extension is ideal for family holidays, water sports, walking or just enjoying the landscape with the unmistakable sound of the waves.
It is divided into two sectors, to the north the Platja del Grau, fine and shallow sand, to the south the Platja Gran, with grainer sand and deeper. a road runs behind the beach where you will find various facilities such as bars with terraces, restaurants and shops
